# 1年生希望者にNGP主催ワークショップ

### 本校コンソーシアム・東京海上日動に聞く「リスクと備え」

 2月25日(水)の午後、希望者を対象にNGP主催でワークショップを行いました。

外部講師に、長野高校のコンソーシアムでもある東京海上日動火災保険株式会社 長野支店の竹前なぎささんを招いて行った「リスクと備え」についての講座です。1年生の希望者を対象に、普段はなかなか学ぶ機会がない、損害保険の役割をはじめ、長野県の社会課題解決のために取り組んだ事例などについてお話を聞きました。

東京海上日動が地方創生に取り組んだ例としてお話しいただいた、雪国・飯山市の除雪作業に3Dマップを生かす実証実験を行ったという取り組みはとても興味深いものでした。飯山市は積雪が多いため、除雪作業は隠れて見えないガードレールやマンホールなど道路状況をしっかりと把握した上で行わなければならず、熟達した技能が必要です。隠れた構造物を視覚化した3Dマップを使うことで、熟練の作業員の経験に頼るだけでなく、若いなり手にもできる作業になり、ゆくゆくは人手不足の解消にもつながっていきます。地域課題を解決するために、東京海上日動がこのシステム開発企業と県を繋ぎ、社会へ還元できたというお話しは、課題研究と重なる部分があり、生徒たちのこれからの研究活動に参考になる部分が多かったのではないかと思います。

講師の竹前さんは本校の卒業生で、NGPの前身であるSGHで課題研究に取り組んだり、班活や学校生活の話もしてくれて、生徒たちにも身近な先輩でした。貴重な機会をありがとうございました。
